appear on time, our World Vision Team Leader Elfi Schattauer, somewhat tired from the last Hours, the latest, not so good news, the many phone calls and many emails sent to key contact persons in Austria.
Elfi gives us courage. At this point I would like to say thank you on behalf of all our World Vision Elfi participants for their positive involvement and commitment.
Unfortunately blocked many airports, unfortunately, still not flying South African Airways to Europe.
For many of us understand why the landing clearance for Vienna for the different airlines is not waived.
Thank God we still have our hotel room. The mood in the group is good, we are doing well and hope to continue the "miracle" Johannesburg soon to leave.
The time we spend solved with playing cards, Sudoku, a few hours (unfortunately, it started to rain) in a deck chair in the sun and read a lot. Some took the hotel shuttle to the nearby airport to get cigarettes, reading material and souvenirs for the forthcoming World Cup to get.

reminds me a good saying: "We in Europe have the Clock - here in South Africa the time!
We are pleased to see the consul, and many questions are asked. We have explained to him how the Austrian Embassy can help: for example in financial difficulties.
Somehow, but we feel can really help us either.
The situation is so bad, unfortunately, been there in this form before and after all, are mehrere10.000 people in the same situation as us. The messages from the airlines also change hourly.
Lufthansa flies today at 18.55 clock - unfortunately without us.

We will meet again tomorrow at breakfast and then a new meeting at 10.00 clock.
we pray to God that the situation has improved overnight.
Tomorrow is a new day - a new hope!
Franz Obererlacher
