18th Day 11 April 2010
drive back to Johannesburg

Hello our dear friends!
Today we slept well and have left at 10.00 clock after a leisurely breakfast.
It goes back to Johannesburg, past orange trees blooming tulips, in the round mud huts of the Swazis, and one thinks of the poor children of the kindergarten, which are taught under a tree without water and supplies.
All these women, the after the children are to be admired and you wonder what you do not - you could start the projects in order to improve this situation sooner. We need help!

Now we have crossed the border to South Africa and have lunch today at a service station.
Ingrid, our guide entertains us with funny anecdotes and we can always laugh with her.
Elon chauffeured us calm and sure way to Johannesburg, which welcomes us with a brief rain shower.

We are about 17.00 clock at the airport in Johannesburg and Ingrid and Elfi clarify the location of our next trip from. Then it goes into our hotel Protea OR Tomba because we have to postpone our trip home a bit.
The volcanic eruption in Iceland has shut down all air traffic in Europe. All day we had hoped that perhaps it might be alternatives, but now it is certain: we are stuck, but everything was organized very great.

We have a beautiful hotel room, dinner, we are all healthy, our group is great and harmonious. Nice that we got to know these people.
Tonight we sat together and have our trip and our impressions let pass in review again.

We all wish a speedy and safe return and want to give to all of you on the way:
Every smile that you send out, returns to you!

Monja and Wolfgang Mayer

After the experiences of the last few days we upset the shift is not obvious. A sip of Austrian schnapps was perhaps also help to calm some minds.
Our common coming together after dinner - touching and emotional - where for so many idea for additional help.

It looks good with the heart, the essential is invisible to the eye!
