still "stranded"

22nd Day 15 April 2010
Johannesburg

still "stranded"

Early in the morning we pay at the front desk of our hotel bill. Finally we want - if that happens - loss starting up soon. Elfi has already done time on the way to the airport. For lunch, she calls us to the hotel: We start the experiment, now come in a machine direction home.

storm in no time we get into the room, our bags and take some with luggage and people for the stuffed to the brim minibuses airport. There we welcome long Queues at the check-in counters. The snake is promising for the first time, unfortunately only for those passengers destined originally on 16 and 17 April wanted to leave.

Elfi succeed due to die-hard negotiations at the airport - and with the support of our travel agencies - a total of 13 group members in the seats pushed evening flight back to. Everyone is happy!

The chances for the rest of the group are bad because we can see that according to the travel date will turn many of us.
The plane is then also fill up quickly. But hope is revived, as we hear that a large jumbo jet is used with more seats.

The remaining passengers of 17 April, a check. The tension is rising. Are we there when the first passengers on the 18.04. Unfortunately coated departure have their turn?
be called only women with children and older people. We see but apparently still all so fresh and youthful, that even our older members travel - after all, which is about 60 - will be returned. And, unfortunately, soon comes the announcement that there are no seats.

And so we take with a laughing and crying eye and with the best congratulations for your trip goodbye to our 13 group members departing today. Tired and exhausted from the long queuing at the airport, but still in good spirits, we return to our hotel.

Finally some good news: The two ladies, we could check in yesterday, fortunately already außertourlich have safely arrived in Vienna. We are relieved!

Dear friends at home, hold your fingers crossed for tomorrow and we keep stiff in all cases the ears!
